Accessibility

Last updated: October 7, 2026

Every child deserves to love math, including children who use a screen reader, a keyboard, a switch, or a magnifier.

We hold Bobby's Math Club to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 (opens in a new tab) at Level AA, the international standard for accessible websites and apps, on our website and in the app.

What your child can do today

  • Move through practice, Growth Checks, and placement checks with a keyboard or a screen reader, with each new question read first and the next step ready after every answer.
  • Know which answer was right, marked with a tick as well as with color.
  • Hear every question, hint, and explanation read aloud, with Read Questions Aloud turned on for them in Settings.
  • Read words that stand out clearly from the background, on our website and in the app.
  • Zoom in to 400%, or use a small phone, without scrolling sideways to read.
  • Watch the welcome story, pause it, turn its sound off, or skip it, from a keyboard or a screen reader.

What we're still working on

  • Describing every picture in our math questions, so a child who can't see a picture still knows what it shows.
  • Adding captions to every video.
  • An independent review of the whole website and app against WCAG 2.2 Level AA. We'll share the results here when it's done.

Keeping it that way

Every change to our website is checked against WCAG 2.2 Level AA before it goes live, and we build for the accessibility features on your own device, like screen readers, zoom, and reduced motion.

Tell us if something gets in the way

If anything on Bobby's Math Club is hard for you or your child to use, please contact Bobby and say what you were trying to do and what happened. Bobby reads every message himself.
