Bobby

Hi, I'm Robert Barnett. Everyone calls me Bobby.

I'm an award-winning math teacher, the author of Meet Every Learner's Needs, and the father of two elementary-school math learners. When my own kids started school, I wasn't sure how to help them. Now they've started to enjoy math - and I know yours can too.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. Unlimited practice is free forever, with no credit card needed and no ads. We built it because every kid deserves great math practice, not just the ones whose parents can afford it.

Pre-K–5th grade (ages 3-11). The difficulty adapts within that range, so a 3-year-old just learning to count and a 5th grader working with fractions and decimals both get questions at the right level. 6th–8th grade is coming soon — if you have an older child, tell us and we'll let you know the moment it opens.

That's exactly what the adaptive system prevents. If your child is struggling, the questions get easier so they can rebuild confidence. There's also a hint button, an "I don't know yet" option (no penalty), and encouraging feedback on every answer. We never make a child feel bad for getting something wrong.

We encourage it! Practicing together is a great way to spend quality time and show your child that math matters. But it's not required — two friendly voices read every question aloud, hints are available if they're stuck, and the difficulty adjusts automatically. Many families start together, then let their child take the lead.

5 minutes a day is the sweet spot. Sessions are short on purpose — we'd rather your child do 5 focused minutes and feel great about it than grind through 30 minutes and start to dread math. Consistency matters more than quantity.
